Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies is seeking a highly experienced Senior Underwriter to support growth in Management and Professional Lines. You will underwrite and market products, manage a profitable book, and develop strong agency relationships across D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime, Cyber, and related lines.

This role requires advanced underwriting expertise, consultative sales approach, and the ability to partner effectively with brokers, agents, and internal stakeholders to achieve business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of related industry or underwriting experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing agency relationships, negotiating with producers and accounts, and managing a profitable book of business.
• Professional designations such as RPLU, CPCU, ARM, or AU are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio management and underwriting across D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime, Cyber, and other Management Liability products.
• Analyze financial statements, exposures and risk characteristics to underwrite with sound decisions.
• Prepare submissions, present proposals, and negotiate terms with producers and accounts.
• Mentor less experienced underwriters and develop underwriting talent.
• Develop and maintain strong agency relationships and drive profitable growth.
