Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies, a Tokio Marine Group member, seeks a Senior Underwriter to grow and profit a Management and Professional Lines book. You will underwrite complex D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime, Cyber, and other Management Liability products, and build strong agency relationships across multiple markets.

With advanced underwriting expertise, you will analyze financial statements, price risk, prepare submissions, mentor junior underwriters, and partner with brokers to achieve business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of underwriting experience.
• Experience managing agency relationships and profitable book of business.
• Professional designations such as RPLU, CPCU, ARM, or AU preferred.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and market assigned Management and Professional Lines products.
• Analyze financial statements and risk characteristics to inform decisions.
• Prepare submissions and present proposals to brokers and accounts.
• Mentor less experienced underwriters and share best practices.
• Develop agency relationships and drive profitable growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet service standards.
