Job summary

Swyfft is seeking an experienced Homeowner Underwriter to assess high value and luxury home risks, review applications, inspections, and valuation data, and issue sound policy determinations in line with carrier requirements. This 100% remote U.S.

based role requires 5+ years in HVH underwriting, knowledge of replacement cost tools such as 360Value or e2Value, and the ability to collaborate with agents and internal teams while delivering accurate, timely decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of underwriting experience with high value or high net worth homeowners risks.
• Knowledge of replacement cost estimating tools (360Value/e2Value) and catastrophe exposures (wind/wildfire/flood).
• Producer license is preferred but not required; CPCU/AINS/CPIA are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess risks using submission data, inspections, and valuation data for high value homes.
• Evaluate replacement cost estimates and insurance-to-value for luxury properties.
• Review protection and loss-mitigation features and recommend coverage accordingly.
• Communicate eligibility and underwriting requirements to agents for new and renewal high value policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams on underwriting projects and guidelines.
