Job summary

Swyfft is seeking an experienced desk adjuster to handle homeowner/property claims in a fast-paced, remote U.S.-based role. You will liaise between policyholders and vendors to ensure a fast, friendly claims experience.

You’ll need 5+ years of desk adjusting experience, strong knowledge of loss estimating and construction, and the ability to thrive in a metrics-driven environment. We offer extensive benefits and a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a desk adjuster in homeowner/property claims.
• Experience understanding policies and applying coverage.

Responsibilities

• Investigate liability in homeowner property losses.
• Communicate with policyholders, agents, and vendors via phone, email, and internal systems.
• Manage a pending claim load at various stages of the process.
• Apply policy details to ensure accurate payments and declinations.
• Interpret loss estimates, engineers' reports, and construction terminology.
• Maintain claim notations in the CMS and related apps.
