Swyfft, a dynamic insurance tech company, is seeking an experienced desk adjuster for a 100% remote U.S. based role. You will handle homeowner property claims, liaise with policyholders and vendors, and strive for a fast, fair claims experience while maintaining detailed claim files.

The successful candidate has 5+ years of desk adjusting experience, strong policy interpretation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication. Travel is limited to occasional days for meetings and training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a desk adjuster in homeowner/property
• Ability to understand policies and apply coverage
• Experience coordinating with contractors and vendors
• Experience conducting recorded statements
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Stay calm under pressure and deescalate
• Handle complex claims up to $100K

Responsabilités

• Investigate and determine liability in first-party homeowner claims
• Communicate with policyholders, agents, and service providers to document claim details
• Manage a pending claim load at varying stages
• Interpret policy details to ensure accurate payments or declinations
• Interpret computer-generated loss estimates and construction terminology
• Maintain comprehensive claim notations in the claims system
