Qualifikationen

• Real experience debugging code under time pressure with incomplete information.
• Comfort in at least two of Rust, C++, Python, Go; able to read and fix bugs in them.
• Fluency with logs and metrics to reconstruct events after incidents.

Aufgaben

• Take field-reported anomalies and identify the actual subsystem involved.
• Reproduce issues using recorded data and visualization tools.
• Use existing metrics and logs to reconstruct system state at failure.
• Verify fixes in simulated or hardware-in-the-loop environments before use on real vehicles.
• Write fixes in the subsystem language with tests, via CI, for rollout.
• Determine if problems are bugs, bad configs, or deployment mismatches and fix accordingly.
• Document root cause and fix for long-term reliability; contribute to runbooks.
• Escalate to owning teams when structural changes are required.
