Job summary

BKF Engineers, Inc. seeks an experienced construction professional to serve as the Owner's representative on bridge, roadway and civil projects in California.

You will ensure construction complies with contract documents, lead QA/QC, manage staff and coordinate with agencies and clients. The role requires a California PE, a BS in Civil Engineering, 7+ years of road/bridge contract management, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering and California PE required.
• 7+ years construction contract management experience on roadway/bridge projects.
• Familiarity with CALTRANS/local agency processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Owner's representative on bridge, roadway and civil construction projects.
• Ensure work conforms to contract documents and QA/QC standards.
• Lead project teams, manage staff, and coordinate with agencies and clients.
• Review change orders, shop drawings, materials testing and surveying activities.
• Maintain project scopes, budgets and schedules; ensure profitability.
