Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer, PE to join our Transportation team in the Plymouth or Eden Prairie office. This role focuses on transportation projects and coordinating planning, development, and completion of projects to ensure client satisfaction.

You will work closely with Project Managers to understand client needs and expectations. The ideal candidate will have a PE license, a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, and 10+ years of civil engineering experience with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• 10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience, including transportation infrastructure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; team oriented.
• Experience mentoring staff and developing roadway improvements.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and MicroStation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex design computations.
• Prepares and presents preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
• Develops and reviews roadway layouts and concepts.
• Plans, schedules, and manages multiple projects and directs engineers/technicians.
• Supports business development including RFPs and community engagement.
• Leads junior staff and promotes technical growth.
• Identifies project scope, negotiates contracts, and monitors budgets.
