Bolton & Menk, Inc. invites qualified candidates for a Senior Project Engineer, PE to join our Transportation team in Minnesota. This role focuses on transportation projects and coordinating planning, development, and completion with a focus on client satisfaction.

You will work closely with Project Managers to understand client needs and expectations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, a PE license, and 10+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
• 10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience with transportation focus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience leading and mentoring staff.
• Experience developing and analyzing roadway improvements.
• Proficiency with MicroStation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex design computations.
• Prepares and presents preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
• Develops, supervises and reviews roadway design and layouts.
• Plans, schedules and manages multiple projects while directing engineers and technicians.
• Supports business development including RFPs and client engagement.
• Leads junior staff and mentors their technical growth.
• Defines project scope, negotiates contracts and monitors budgets.
• Provides technical advisory support to clients and management.
