Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer, PE to join our Transportation team in our Plymouth or Eden Prairie office. The role emphasizes transportation projects and coordinating planning, development, and completion to ensure client satisfaction.

You will work with Project Managers, mentor staff, and build strong client relationships with agencies. Applicants must be licensed P.E. with 10+ years in civil engineering and transportation experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• 10+ years in civil engineering with transportation focus.
• Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience mentoring staff.
• Experience developing roadway improvements.
• Proficiency with MicroStation preferred.
• Project management experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs complex design computations.
• Prepares and presents preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
• Develops, supervises and reviews design of concept and preliminary roadway layouts.
• Plans, schedules, and manages multiple projects while directing engineers and technicians.
• Supports business development including RFPs, presentations and community engagement with regulators.
• Leads junior staff and grows their technical skills.
• Identifies project scope, participates in contract negotiation, and monitors budgets.
• Provides technical advice to clients and management staff.
