Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
• 10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience in transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team.
• Experience mentoring staff and leading projects preferred.
• Proficiency with MicroStation and civil design software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex design computations.
• Prepares reports and conducts feasibility studies.
• Develops and reviews roadway layouts and design concepts.
• Plans, schedules, and manages multiple engineering projects and guides junior staff.
• Supports business development and engages with regulatory agencies.
• Lead junior staff and promote growth of technical skills.
• Identify project scope, assist in contracts, monitor budgets and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical advice to clients and management.
