Job summary

You will use Excel and logistics systems to generate reports, track metrics, coordinate backhaul orders, and communicate routing updates to drivers, while training junior clerical teammates.

This role requires a minimum of three years in warehouse administration and strong teamwork and communication

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse admin or clerical experience.
• Experience in logistics/transportation/warehouse required.
• Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls to resolve driver, sales representative, and customer issues; communicate route updates to drivers
• Utilize systems (MS Excel, Omnitracs, Tandem, Kronos, etc.) to create, update, and distribute reports supporting transportation operations
• Maintain and track transportation metrics (attendance, DVIRs, backhaul spreadsheets, delivery window dispatch, trailer temp logs, route updates, etc.)
• Coordinate pickup appointments for backhaul orders and vendors
• Optimize routing and scheduling to minimize cost while maintaining compliance
• Complete all necessary paperwork and ensure accurate communication of logistics information
