Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive data-driven CI initiatives across operations. You will lead lean projects, map processes, and apply CI/Lean tools to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.

You will collaborate with operations management and customers to deliver tangible results and coach teams in CI principles. This role requires strong data analytics, statistical methods, and the ability to sustain improvements through Kaizen events and Value Stream

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 5+ years in Transportation or Supply Chain industry.
• Transportation experience (TMS, LTL/FTL) preferred.
• MS Office Suite with emphasis on Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio; experience in data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Collects data, performs statistical analysis, maps processes, identifies gaps, and implements CI plans to drive value.
• Manages CI projects, supports go-live and steady-state certifications, and drives automation initiatives.
• Develops competency in Lean tools and coaches teams in CI/Lean principles.
• Facilitates Value Stream Maps and Kaizen events and sustains improvements across operations.
