Job summary

GAI Consultants is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager with 15+ years of experience to lead traffic and engineering projects. The role is on-site or hybrid at any of our Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, or West Virginia offices and includes eligibility for a sign-on bonus.

You will supervise engineers, coordinate with planning and environmental teams, manage budgets, and represent the client. PE license required; multi-state reciprocity preferred.

Qualifications

• PE Registration is required with ability to attain PE in additional surrounding states.
• Experience supervising engineers in plans development, financial monitoring, and client representation.
• 15+ years of experience in managing traffic and engineering projects.
• Knowledge of State Agencies; Design-Build experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop standards and guidelines for projects.
• Lead projects and manage teams in engineering practice.
• Develop design alternatives considering requirements, permitting, and constraints.
• Integrate sustainability and risk analysis into solutions.
• Oversee project management, budgets, and staffing up to $150,000 per year in some cases.
