Job summary

GAI Consultants seeks a Senior Engineering Manager with 15+ years of experience in managing traffic and engineering projects. The role is on-site or hybrid at any Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, or West Virginia offices, with a sign-on bonus eligibility.

You will supervise engineers, oversee financial monitoring, and act as the client representative while applying design-build expertise and leadership across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in managing traffic and engineering projects.
• PE Registration is required with ability to attain PE in additional surrounding states.
• Experience working with State Agencies is required; Design-Build experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineers in developing plans, monitor finances, and act as client representative.
• Lead projects with complex features and integrate engineering economics and risk analysis.
• Recommends facilities, personnel, and funds; develops complete project management plans.
• Ensure effective teamwork and leadership; manage project objectives and requirements.
• Demonstrates exceptional oral and written communication with stakeholders and officials.
