Job summary

GAI Consultants Inc. seeks a Senior Engineering Manager with 15+ years of experience to oversee traffic and engineering projects across multiple offices. The role supports on-site or hybrid work in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, or West Virginia, with eligibility for a sign-on bonus.

The candidate will lead engineers, manage client relations, and guide complex, regulation-driven projects. Required PE licensure and state reciprocity, plus strong leadership and financial monitoring skills.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience managing traffic and engineering projects.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with State Agencies; design-build experience preferred.
• PE Registration with ability to attain PE in additional states.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineers in development of plans and financial monitoring.
• Act as client representative for GAI projects.
• Lead projects with complex features and integrate sustainability concepts.
• Develop design alternatives considering permits, community input, and regulatory constraints.
• Manage project budget, timeline, and resources; may serve as Project Manager up to $150,000/year.
