Job summary

GAI Consultants is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager with 15+ years of experience to lead traffic and engineering projects. The role offers on-site or hybrid work at offices in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, or West Virginia, and includes a sign-on bonus.

The ideal candidate will supervise engineers, oversee plans, financial monitoring, and act as the client representative with state agencies. PE registration is required, with reciprocity across states, and a master’s degree or equivalent

Qualifications

• Requires PE registration with ability to obtain PE in additional states.
• Experience overseeing engineers on plans, budgets, and client relations.
• Knowledge of government and design-build projects preferred.
• 15+ years of engineering management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineers in development of plans and financial monitoring.
• Act as client representative and manage state agency interactions.
• Lead complex engineering projects across multiple offices.
• Integrate engineering economics and risk analysis.
