Job summary

GAI Consultants Inc. seeks a Senior Engineering Manager with 15+ years of experience overseeing traffic and engineering projects. The role involves leading engineers, coordinating plans, budget monitoring, and acting as the client representative for state and local agencies.

The position supports on-site or hybrid work at offices across Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, or West Virginia, with a sign-on bonus. A PE license is required, with reciprocity to additional states.

Qualifications

• State Agencies experience required; Design-Build preferred.
• Oversight of engineers in plans development, financial monitoring, and client representation.
• PE Registration with ability to reciprocity in multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Frequently oversees technical, legal, and financial issues of an entire project.
• Recommends facilities, personnel, and funds required to carry out projects.
• Integrates these components into a complete project management plan for a complex engineering project.
• Implements effective teamwork and leadership principles into solutions for engineering problems.
• May serve as the Project Manager for certain projects with prior approval from GAI's President up to $150,000 per year.
