Job summary

GAI Consultants Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager with 15+ years of experience to oversee traffic and engineering projects. The role is on-site or hybrid across our Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, or West Virginia offices, with a sign-on bonus.

PE license is required, and state reciprocity is expected or pursued. Responsibilities include guiding engineers, managing budgets, and serving as the client representative.

Qualifications

• Requires 15+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Experience working with state agencies is required; design-build experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required; reciprocity in multiple states desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineers in plan development, budgeting, and client representation.
• Lead projects with complex features and integrate economics and risk analysis.
• Manage project teams, set objectives, and ensure regulatory compliance.
