Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a Transportation Engineer to join the team in Missouri. The role focuses on detailed design, analysis, and calculations for civil/transportation projects for state and local governments. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of transportation experience, state licensure (PE in MO/IA), and familiarity with MoDOT/IaDOT projects. On-site work with opportunities for professional growth and training.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of transportation engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Missouri or Iowa PE required; PTOE not required but desired.
• MoDOT or IaDOT experience preferred; KDOT experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Design transportation infrastructure projects, with a focus on roadway and highway elements.
• Prepare and review project reports.
• Communicates and schedules work with Survey Department.
• Completes work on schedule and within budgets.
• Plans and prepares transportation project plans and specifications.
• Periodic on-site construction observation.
