Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a Transportation Engineer to design complex roadway and highway projects in Missouri. You will collaborate with state and local agencies, perform detailed analyses, and prepare technical reports for client review.

Required: 10+ years in transportation engineering, a B.S. in Civil Engineering, and strong communication skills. MO/IA PE preferred; PowerGEOPAK/OpenRoads experience valued; on-site field work involved.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of transportation engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• MO or IA PE required; PTOE not required but desired.
• Experience with state DOT projects preferred (MoDOT/IaDOT).

Responsibilities

• Design of complex transportation infrastructure projects, with a focus on roadway and highway elements.
• Prepare and review project reports.
• Communicates and schedules work with Survey Department.
• Completes work on schedule and within budgets.
• Plans and prepares transportation project plans and specifications.
• Periodic on-site construction observation.
