The role involves design, analysis, and engineering calculations for civil/transportation projects, coordinating with State and Local Governments, and delivering high-impact solutions.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of transportation engineering experience, a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, and a PE license in Illinois.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of transportation engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Illinois PE license required.
• PTOE not required but desired.
• Experience with PowerGEOPAK and/or OpenRoads Designer.
• IDOT experience preferred, KDOT experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Design of complex transportation infrastructure projects, with a focus on roadway and highway elements.
• Prepare and review project reports.
• Communicates and schedules work with Survey Department.
• Completes work on schedule and within budgets.
• Plans and prepares transportation project plans and specifications.
• Periodic on-site construction observation.
