Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a dedicated Transportation Coordinator (Driver) to deliver reliable, resident-focused mobility within the community. This full-time role blends driving with transportation coordination, scheduling, and clear resident communication.

You will operate community vehicles for medical, recreational, and personal trips, manage requests in our digital system, perform vehicle checks, and support events and daily operations while upholding safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21+ with 3 years licensed driving experience.
• Valid state Driver's License (Class E in Missouri) and Clean MVR.
• Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles, buses, and mobility lift systems while assisting residents.
• Previous experience with older adults, transportation, or coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides transportation services during scheduled work hours, including designated medical transportation days.
• Safely operate community vehicles to provide medical, recreational, and personal transportation to residents.
• Enter and manage transportation requests in our digital transportation management system, ensuring schedules are accurate and aligned with guidelines.
• Maintain vehicle readiness by completing routine inspections and ensuring vehicles are clean and in good working condition.
• Support the Entertainment & Programming team with outings and events, including planning, logistics, resident participation, and safety protocols.
