Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Transportation Coordinator (Driver) to support our residents with safe, timely trips and compassionate service. You will operate community vehicles, schedule rides, and communicate with residents to ensure comfort and safety during medical, recreational, and personal transportation.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and clean MVR, with at least 3 years of licensed driving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of licensed driving experience preferred.
• Valid state Driver’s License (Class E) and Clean MVR.
• Ability to operate passenger vehicles, buses, and mobility lifts.
• Experience with older adults, transportation, or coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation services during scheduled hours, including medical transportation days.
• Safely operate community vehicles for medical, recreational, and personal transportation.
• Enter and manage transportation requests in the digital transportation management system.
• Maintain vehicle readiness with inspections, cleaning, fueling and good condition.
• Support programming events with planning, logistics, resident participation, and safety protocols.
• During non-driving hours provide community support and other operational tasks.
• Ensure schedules are accurate and aligned with guidelines and availability.
