Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Transportation Coordinator (Driver) to manage a structured transportation program within the community. The role includes driving, scheduling, resident communication, and operational support, with a full-time schedule Sunday through Thursday from 8:30 to 4:30.

Responsibilities include providing medical and recreational transportation, managing requests in the digital system, and ensuring vehicle readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age and have a minimum of 3 years of licensed driving experience.
• Must have a valid state Driver's License and clean MVR.
• Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles, buses, and mobility lift systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides transportation services during scheduled work hours, including designated medical transportation days.
• Safely operate community vehicles to provide medical, recreational, and personal transportation to residents.
• Enter and manage transportation requests in the digital transport system and ensure schedules align with guidelines.
• Maintain vehicle readiness through routine inspections and cleaning, fueling, and maintenance checks.
• Support the Entertainment & Programming team with outings and events, including planning and logistics.
• Provide non-driving support during off-hours, including programming and interdepartmental tasks.
