Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer to apply data-driven CI, engineering, and automation to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost across operations. You will interface across all levels, drive Kaizen events, and coach teams in lean methods.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field, 5+ years in transportation/supply chain, and strong data visualization with Power BI/Tableau. This is a full-time position in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain or related field required.
• 5+ years in transportation or supply chain industry required.
• Transportation experience (Transportation Management, Dedicated, FTL, LTL) required.
• Strong MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) expert required.
• Data visualization (Power BI, Tableau) and SQL/DAX experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs statistical analysis to identify process gaps.
• Leads CI and engineering projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Supports go-live and steady-state certifications; drives automation projects.
• Facilitates value stream mapping and Kaizen events; coaches lean methods.
• Reports progress and makes supply chain strategy recommendations.
