Job summary

Ryder is seeking a CI Engineer to apply data-driven methodologies across operations, driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will interface with leadership and shop floor teams to implement lean transformations and automation initiatives.

The role requires engineering or related degree and 5+ years in the transportation or supply chain field, with proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and data analysis. This position is full-time and on-site, based in Santa Fe, NM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 5+ years in Transportation or Supply Chain Industry.
• Experience in Transportation Management, Dedicated, FTL, LTL.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Data visualization in PowerBI/Tableau; SQL and DAX knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs statistical analysis; maps and documents processes.
• Drives CI and steady-state projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Coaches employees in CI and Lean principles; applies PDCA and Kaizen events.
• Facilitates Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen activities; sustains improvements.
• Provides regular progress reports and supports site objectives.
