Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. Indianapolis seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer to apply data-driven CI, lean methods, and automation to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost across operations.

You will collect data, map processes, license improvements, coach teams, and drive value through Kaizen events and VSM. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years in Transportation/Supply Chain are preferred. This is a salaried role with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5+ years in Transportation or Supply Chain industry.
• Transportation experience (TMS, Dedicated, FTL, LTL) preferred.
• Data visualization with Power BI/Tableau and SQL/DAX proficiency.
• Lean tools and process improvement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects data, performs analyses, and identifies CI gaps.
• Leads CI projects and supports go-live and certifications.
• Develops and demonstrates competency in lean methods and tools.
• Facilitates Kaizen events and value stream mapping.
• Reports progress against site objectives and drives savings.
