Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer to apply data-driven CI, engineering, and lean tools across transportation operations. You will analyze data to identify root causes, drive change, and enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Responsibility includes maintaining Power BI dashboards, collaborating with operations management, and leading cross‑functional CI projects to deliver measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5+ years in Transportation or Supply Chain.
• Transportation Experience (TMS, FTL, LTL).
• Excel, PowerPoint, Access & Visio proficiency (Office suite expert).
• Data visualization skills (Power BI/Tableau) (intermediate preferred).

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs statistical analysis to identify process gaps.
• Manage CI and engineering projects to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Develop and implement CI plans; lead Kaizen events and value stream mapping.
• Provide regular data reports and recommendations to site leadership.
