Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to apply data-driven CI, engineering and automation to transportation operations. You will own data analysis, dashboard maintenance in Power BI, and lean tool application across cross-functional teams.

The role requires transportation experience, Excel/Power BI proficiency, and the ability to lead CI projects from design through sustainment, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or related field.
• 5+ years in transportation or supply chain industry.
• Transportation experience including TMS, dedicated, FTL/LTL.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, Excel and data visualization.
• Experience with transportation modeling software (Appian Direct Route preferred).

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs statistical analysis; maps processes and identifies gaps.
• Drives CI initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Develops and executes continuous improvement plans linked to KPIs.
• Manages CI projects and supports go-live and certifications.
• Facilitates Value Stream Maps and Kaizen events; coaches teams in lean methods.
• Reports progress and provides strategic supply chain recommendations.
