Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive CI across operations, using data analytics, Lean tools, and engineering methods to raise safety, quality, delivery and cost performance.

You will collect data, map processes, and lead CI projects with a strong focus on transportation modeling, Excel, and Power BI. Collaboration with operations and management is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in transportation or supply chain roles.
• Experience with data visualization in Power BI and Excel.
• Knowledge of transportation modeling tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs statistical analysis; maps processes and identifies improvement opportunities.
• Manages CI projects and supports go-live and certifications; coordinates with operations management.
• Develops engineering methods and coaches Lean principles across teams to improve processes.
• Facilitates Value Stream Maps and Kaizen events; ensures sustainment of improvements.
• Reports progress and makes supply chain strategy recommendations to leadership.
