HDR, Inc. is seeking an experienced Alternative Delivery Director for the Transportation Business Group to lead pursuit and delivery of major design-build and P3 projects.

You will drive policy-compliant approvals, manage contracts, and coordinate with HDR leadership to expand client relationships across multiple states. With 15+ years in large transportation projects, you will guide teams through complex delivery methods while maintaining HDR’s employee-owned culture and collaborative matrix

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum 10 years of related field experience in transportation infrastructure.
• Experience leading large, complex projects with traditional and Alternative Delivery methods.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of time.

Responsabilités

• Report to the Project Delivery Program Director for pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
• Drive approvals per HDR policy, procedure, and risk committee.
• Coordinate with HDR groups on policy, staffing, contractor relationships, and contracts terms.
• Negotiate terms with HDR Legal and Risk input for AD projects.
• Lead collaboration across Transportation Business Group and regional leads on client discussions and contractor relations.
• Facilitate HDR leadership calls to ensure matrix collaboration across areas and regions.
• Advise leadership on commercial and technical trends in Alternative Delivery.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and pursue opportunities in AD markets.
• Possibly serve as Principal-in-Charge for selected projects or contracts.
