Job summary

Exelon is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee transmission, substation, distribution, gas and IT initiatives. You will manage scope, schedule, budget and safety, coordinating cross-functional teams and communicating with sponsors and executives to drive project success.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 4–7 years PM experience, CAPM/PMP certification, and strong independence, leadership and budgeting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 4-7 years PM experience or high school diploma with 6-9 years PM experience
• CAPM certification or CAPM within two years of entry (PMP certification fulfills this)
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects
• Ability to work independently and lead a team with multiple priorities
• Demonstrated independent judgment, interpersonal and time management skills
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile

Responsibilities

• Oversee performance of projects across transmission, substation, distribution, gas and IT initiatives
• Control costs, schedule and scope with recovery plans to stay within approved limits
• Coordinate requirements with external and internal stakeholders
• Communicate with sponsor and key stakeholders at executive level
• Lead and coach team members to complete tasks
• Identify and obtain project team resources
• Ensure team understands responsibilities
