Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 7–10 years of PM experience, or 9–12 years without a degree.
• PMP certification or plan to obtain PMP within two years of starting.
• Proficiency with project management techniques: planning, risk, and cost management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex, cross-functional projects from scope to closeout, budget and schedule.
• Interface with external customers on transmission and substation projects, including billable costs and schedules.
• Coordinate resources with other PMs, work management and functional managers.
• Communicate project status to sponsors and executives.
• Acquire and manage contract resources, process change orders and payments.
• Coach team members and mentor less experienced colleagues.
• Obtain zoning variations and permits for large projects.
• Provide backup for the Manager of Project Management.
