Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Manager to lead or support transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT projects. You will manage scope, schedule, and budget, interfacing with stakeholders and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver within approved parameters.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or related field and 2–4 years PM experience, or a High School Diploma with 3–6 years PM experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 2–4 years of PM experience or High School Diploma and 3–6 years PM experience
• For non-construction PM: degree in business/engineering or related field and 2–4 years PM experience or High School Diploma and 3–6 years PM experience
• Demonstrated ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively and foster culture change
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader with conflicting priorities
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process enhancements including technology and performance
• Demonstrated strong judgment and time management skills
• PM skills, writing skills and PC skills including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, Passport
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile

Responsibilities

• Lead or support project and program performance across multiple disciplines
• Manage costs, schedule, scope and risks with recovery plans
• Interface with external and internal stakeholders to coordinate project requirements
• Build effective working relationships with team members and contract resources
• Communicate project status to sponsor and key stakeholders at all levels
• Coach and guide team members on responsibilities and tasks
• Identify and obtain project resources with management assistance
