Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Project Manager to lead high voltage and EHV transmission line projects within our Power & Energy Management Team. This role is based in Houston, Austin, or Fort Worth with the option to work remotely from a mutually agreed location and periodic client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering or related field required.
• 12+ years post-education PM experience in Power Delivery/Utility.
• Minimum 5 years leading engineering/construction teams for HV/EHV projects.
• Experience with PM processes: contract, risk, schedule, and cost management.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 or equivalent CPM scheduling.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for high voltage/EHV transmission projects.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
• Engage stakeholders and report project progress.
• Lead contract negotiations and client presentations when needed.
• Ensure QA/QC, risk management, and project documentation.
• Coordinate resources and subcontracting.
• Deliver projects on schedule and within scope.
