Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Project Manager to lead high voltage and EHV transmission line projects from Houston/Austin/Fort Worth bases with remote work flexibility. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client relationships while guiding project teams and pursuing opportunities.

The role requires 12+ years in Power Delivery, with proven leadership, risk management, and CPM scheduling expertise, including Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field within the Power & Energy Market is required.
• 12+ years of post-education project management experience in Power Delivery/Utility sector.
• 5+ years leading engineering/construction teams for high/extra-high voltage projects.
• Experience with contract management, risk management and cost control processes.
• Knowledge of CPM scheduling tools (Primavera P6) and Earned Value Management is essential.
• Proficiency with MS Office, project management software, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for HV/EHV transmission line projects, overseeing design, budgets, forecasts, margins and KPIs.
• Develop strategies to engage stakeholders and report progress.
• Lead pursuit activities, pricing reviews, and contract risk mitigation.
• Participate in contract negotiations and client presentations when needed.
• Direct technical reviews and QA/QC adherence across projects.
• Provide strategic guidance to clients and mentor staff.
