Job summary

WSP seeks a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join our Power Delivery Team in the United States. The role offers flexible work arrangements with the option to work remotely or from offices across the Northeast region, including Boston, MA.

You will lead engineering for high‑voltage overhead transmission line projects up to 765 kV, mentor staff, and coordinate with clients to deliver quality, schedule‑conscious designs and construction support in line with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or closely related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• PE license required (multi-state preferred).
• 10+ years of post-education experience in engineering and civil design.
• Understanding of the NESC, RUS, and GO-95.
• Strong command of English with good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering of transmission projects up to 765 kV.
• Lead and/or support project execution layouts and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients on status and meetings; maintain clear communication across projects.
• Forecast project requirements for resource planning and QA/QC adherence.
• Lead project teams and provide mentorship; travel as needed.
