Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer to join the Power Delivery Team. This role offers flexible work arrangements with a remote option and office locations across the Northeast region.

You will provide technical leadership for planning, design, and delivery of high‑voltage overhead transmission line projects, lead multi‑disciplinary teams, and coordinate with clients to achieve project milestones while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• PE licensure preferred or required.
• 7–10 years of transmission field experience across design/management and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Create and maintain project schedules and lead meetings.
• Coordinate with clients on status and deliverables.
• Ensure QA/QC adherence and cross-disciplinary coordination.
• Travel to client offices/field/vendor facilities as needed.
• Develop client relationships to win future work.
