Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to lead high‑voltage transmission projects. You will guide planning, design, and delivery from concept to construction, including client interactions and staff mentorship.

You will oversee project schedules, coordinate with multi‑discipline teams, and ensure adherence to QA/QC and safety standards, delivering technically excellent results across the Northeast region.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in electrical transmission design and capital projects.
• PE license and multi-state eligibility.
• Strong knowledge of NESC, RUS, and GO-95.
• Experience with 765kV transmission projects.
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for planning, design and delivery of high‑voltage overhead transmission projects.
• Lead project scheduling, meetings, and coordination with clients and internal teams.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures and safety standards are followed.
• Mentor staff and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Support business development and client engagement activities.
