Job summary

HDR Engineering is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer to join our Power Delivery team. You will contribute to the design of high-voltage transmission lines and coordinate project activities across multiple locations including MT/WA/ID regions.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of experience, a PE license, and proficiency with PLS-CADD and related design tools. This role involves client interactions, cost estimation, and multi-project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• PE license required; project execution experience in Power Market sector.
• 4+ years transmission line engineering experience.
• Experience using PLS-CADD and related design software.
• Strong communication with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual and detailed transmission line design using PLS-CADD.
• Coordinate construction release packages and Bills of Materials.
• Mentor junior staff and perform QC reviews.
• Assist with cost estimates and specifications.
• Attend client meetings and lead design reviews.
