Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer to join our growing Power Delivery team. You will design high‑voltage transmission lines, mentor junior staff and coordinate with clients and stakeholders across multiple projects.

Responsibilities include using PLS-CADD and support software, preparing construction release packages, and contributing to cost estimates and schedules while ensuring quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and PE license.
• 4+ years of transmission line engineering experience.
• Proficient with PLS-CADD and line design software.
• Experience with project stakeholders and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Preparing technical aspects and deliverables for transmission line design using PLS-CADD and foundation software.
• Coordinating construction release packages for high voltage transmission lines.
• Leading design reviews and mentoring junior team members.
• Conducting site visits and field observations during design and construction.
