Job summary

Rise Technical is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer (Progression to Director) for a remote US-based position. Salary ranges from $200,000 to $240,000 plus Bonus, Long-Term Incentive Plan, 401(k) and healthcare with remote flexibility.

The role focuses on leading design from development through construction of major HV transmission and HVDC projects, managing consultants, budgets, and schedules, and engaging in permitting and stakeholder coordination with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Strong transmission engineering experience with PLS-CADD.
• Experience leading external engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design activities across major HV transmission and HVDC projects, from development through construction.
• Manage external engineering consultants, technical deliverables, budgets and project schedules.
• Support site and route assessments, due diligence, permitting and stakeholder coordination, with up to 25% travel.
• Work alongside industry leaders with significant autonomy and influence on project delivery.
