Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join a dynamic team working on electric transmission projects from 46kV to 345kV. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with at least four years of experience in electric utility transmission design.
Experience reviewing transmission line designs, including PLS-CADD models, foundations, materials, and construction packages.
Knowledge of NESC, ACI, AISC and ASCE code requirements; experience with procurement, schedules, and work packages.

Responsibilities

Design HV overhead and underground transmission lines from 46kV to 345kV.
Prepare bidding documents, plans and specifications, and procurement packages.
Interface with clients, project planning, environmental permitting, and construction management teams.
