Job summary

United Grid Solutions is seeking an experienced transmission line engineer to lead a team delivering safe, cost-effective, high-quality engineering and design services for power delivery projects. You will guide complex problems, manage schedules, and support proposals and cost estimating, while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires PE-licensure (preferred), ABET-accredited engineering degree, and 5–7 years in electrical utility transmission design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, ABET-accredited.
• 5-7 years as an electrical utility transmission line engineer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee junior staff and mentor designers/drafters.
• Provide project management to coordinate staff and deadlines.
• Assist in proposals and contract reviews.
• Support design needs of permitting activities.
