United Grid Solutions is seeking an experienced transmission line engineer to lead design teams and provide technical direction on complex projects. You will manage schedules, budgets, and client communications while supporting proposals and cost estimating.

Requirements include a Civil/Electrical engineering degree, ABET accreditation, and a PE license (NCEES). Five to seven years of electrical utility experience with high voltage transmission design are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural or Electrical Engineering.
• ABET-accredited degree and PE license (NCEES) preferred.
• 5+ years of electrical utility transmission line design experience (69kV+).
• Proficient in transmission line packaging, materials, loading, and fundamentals.
• Ability to estimate total project cost and develop specs and documents.

Aufgaben

• Lead discipline work for transmission line projects and supervise draftsmen.
• Provide technical direction on complex problems and ensure quality deliverables.
• Develop proposals, assist project managers, and monitor schedules/budgets.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, and construction teams on site and in design reviews.
