United Grid Solutions seeks a transmission line design engineer to lead engineering and design for electric utility projects, including renewable interconnections and grid modernization. You will provide technical direction, develop drawings and BOMs, and manage schedules and budgets on multiple projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering (ABET-accredited), 5-7 years of transmission line experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural or Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program
• 5-7 years of electrical utility transmission line design experience (69kV+)
• PE license preferred
• Ability to deliver complete design packages (drawings, BOM, specs) within budget and schedule
• Experience with site visits and coordinating with clients and stakeholders

Responsabilités

• Provide engineering guidance for transmission line projects and renewables interconnections
• Plan, estimate, schedule, and monitor work activities
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and drawings with high quality
• Lead junior staff and mentor designers/drafters
• Support proposals and cost estimating
