The ideal candidate has an ABET-accredited engineering degree, 7+ years of project experience, and proficiency in PLS-CADD and MS Office. Hybrid work arrangement with relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• PLS-CADD proficiency required.
• 7+ years on a project team with design, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Knowledge of right-of-way, conductor sag/tension, and construction docs.
• Familiarity with design codes/standards: NESC, IEC, CSA, IEEE, ANSI, IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI 318.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design transmission lines in the 69kV–500kV range.
• Develop cost estimates and design criteria; route and site transmission lines.
• Specify components; conductors and hardware selections with clients and vendors.
• Lead and mentor a small project team; manage schedules and budgets.
• Prepare procurement specifications and participate in construction liaison.
