Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. seeks Senior Transmission Line Engineers to lead cutting-edge high-voltage line projects (69 kV–765 kV). The role offers hybrid work with office and WFH after 90 days and may be based in Spring, TX; Dallas, TX; Ft Worth, TX; or Kennewick, WA.

You’ll use PLS-CADD, coordinate design teams, and support construction to ensure project success. Candidates should have a civil/electrical/ mechanical engineering background, EIT preferred, and about 6 years of experience in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; EIT preferred.
• Typically requires 6 years’ experience in transmission line design.
• Solid knowledge of PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and MFAD/L-Pile or similar.
• Familiar with design techniques and tools for plan/profile drawings and material coordination.
• Strong knowledge of NESC, IEEE, ASCE 7 and AISC.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design transmission lines from 69 kV to 765 kV using PLS-CADD and develop models, conductor sags, and right-of-way drawings.
• Strategy with clients to determine project needs, conductor selection, pole utilization, and route optimization.
• Coordinate small design teams to prepare scoping documents, design criteria, and project deliverables.
• Provide engineering support during construction and attend construction meetings as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
