The role emphasizes design, routing optimization, and precise modeling using PLS-CADD to ensure project success. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with office and remote options after the first 90 days, and opportunities across Spring, Dallas/Fort Worth, and Kennewick, with some remote possibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
• EIT certification is preferred for this role.
• Proven experience with transmission line design (6+ years).
• Strong knowledge of PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, MFAD, and L-Pile.
• Familiarity with design techniques, drawings, and material coordination.
• Solid understanding of NESC, IEEE, ASCE 7 and AISC.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design transmission lines from 69 kV to 765 kV using PLS-CADD.
• Collaborate with clients and vendors to select routes, conductors, poles, and materials.
• Lead small design teams and prepare scoping documents and design criteria.
• Support construction activities and participate in meetings and coordination.
• Perform additional duties as required.
